【蘋果日報】久未公開露面的前財政司長曾俊華為一間國際公關公司拍片，分享信任心得。這位在去年特首選舉中高民望落敗的前財爺，語帶譏諷地回應林鄭月娥政府民望較上屆的梁振英政府為高：「任何新政府班子履新都會有蜜月期，而且上任政府民望真的直墮谷底。」
指去屆政府信任度墮谷底
總部設於美國的美國公關公司愛德曼（Edelman）在YouTube發放一段曾俊華的英文分享片段，短片開始即指，如果新政府上場後信任度未見回升，他會真的驚訝。（I think it is quite natural for any new administration to come in to have this honey moon period. And after all, the last administration really hit the rock bottom. And it would be really surprising that any new administration coming in would not have an increase in trust them.）
愛德曼早前發表全球信任度調查報告，指特區政府信任度由去年40%，升至46%，但有三成人認為社會撕裂的最大責任在於政府。曾俊華在短片中指，上任政府民望直墮谷底，要讓香港市民融入（to engage with people in Hong Kong）香港市民，須用心傳遞（convey）他們的訊息。
他又表示，商界除了賺錢外，也應與社會多溝通，對社會及僱員顯示關注。
