【明報專訊】Actor Owen Cunningham Wilson was born on 18 November 1968 in Dallas, Texas. Wilson is best known for his smooth, subdued (順從的) comedic personas (角色) and his rakishly(瀟灑地) crooked (彎曲的) nose.
Wilson got his big break with the 2000 comedy action hit Shanghai Noon (《贖金之王》), starring opposite Jackie Chan. The film grossed nearly US$100 million worldwide.
In 2006, he was romantically linked to his Me, You, and Dupree(《家多一支公》) co-star Kate Hudson, but the couple broke up in May 2007. Wilson was previously romantically linked to Jessica Simpson, Jennifer Aniston and Sheryl Crow.
On 26 August 2007, Wilson was taken from his California home to hospital after a call was made from his home. Police reports show that they responded to a suicide attempt. Wilson issued a statement asking for privacy so that he might "receive care and heal (治癒) in private during this difficult time". Wilson went home less than a week later.
