【明報專訊】Pythons (蟒蛇) are not supposed to be seen in urban areas, even less in busy districts like Central. However, last month, one twelve feet long was caught outside the Bank of China, Central.

"The hibernation (冬眠) cycle of the python may have been disturbed by global warming," the expert who caught it said by way of explanation. He said pythons were rarely seen in autumn or winter in the past. Now it may be quite warm in autumn and winter, cold-blooded python may come out.
